Victory for LIFE in Florida!

Dear Friends,

I come to you today on behalf of A Woman’s Choice to share with you the joy of victory for LIFE in the election last night! Every time I think of the defeat of Amendment 4, my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude to the Lord. He has done it! And we rejoice in His might hand at work in our state!

I must be honest that despite my sincere prayers and trust in the Lord, I was surprised by the victory. I should not have been. But the fight was hard and the lies of the pro-abortion collective were loud, and I thought they would win. But God. I have repented before God for my doubt and unbelief. Imagine that, our God has heard our cries on behalf of LIFE in our state, and He answered with a clear NO on 4!! Praise the Lord!

Believe me, brothers and sisters, this outcome will save lives in Florida. Defeating Amendment 4 will save tens of thousands of babies’ lives from abortion and will save the same number of women and men from the pain and consequences of choosing abortion. Before the election, the Faith and Community Initiative from the Governor’s office shared that the difference between Amendment 4 passing or being defeated was 40,000 lives. 40,000. Think about that number. That many people could fill a stadium. And that’s the number of babies who will be born, grow into children and eventually adults, and who will fulfill God’s purpose and plan for them. Praise God.

THANK YOU to each and every one of you who fought this fight with us–praying with us and sharing the message of the truth about the Amendment consistently with everyone around you. Thank you for your commitment to LIFE and your willingness to stand with us for LIFE to win! Your efforts have paid off, and we are grateful.

So today we give praise and glory to God as we celebrate the victory. But we also remember that this victory is not an end to the fight. It is the end of a hard-fought battle, but the war continues. Even with Amendment 4 defeated, there is still much work to continue reaching women and men with the truth that abortion is not their only answer. I promise you today that A Woman’s Choice remains committed to our mission of saving lives and saving souls. We will not back down… we will go forward with reinvigorated hope and energy to do all we can to reach women and men in our community. We are grateful that we do not go forward alone.
