Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist (Part-Time)

A Woman’s Choice needs a part-time Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist to serve to represent A Woman’s Choice in the community by delivering quality SRA education and using REAL Essentials curriculum to middle and high school students in churches and community programs. The Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist will participate in REAL Essentials training to obtain SRA Specialist Certification. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree or three or more year’s experience working with pre-teens/teens in a related field (e.g., sexual risk avoidance education, public speaking, teen training programs, teen recreational/group leader, coach, youth group leader, acting); proven ability to work with a variety of personnel in school or church/community type settings.  This is a part-time position primarily in the late afternoon for after-school programs and evenings when youth groups would usually meet.  The frequency of presentations will be determined by opportunities and invitations from churches and community organizations.  The SRA Specialist may work one or two nights each month, but it could be less or more. The position reports to the SHARE Director and Executive Director.

Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist Poster

Registered Nurse (RN) or RDMS (Part-Time)

A Woman’s Choice needs a part-time RDMS or a Registered Nurse(RN) to serve in our medical clinic, either in the brick-and-mortar clinic or on our new Mobile Medical Clinic, or both.  Clinic staff provide medical services and care to our patients, while also reinforcing the sanctity of life message of the ministry.  Qualifications include: appropriate state and professional licensing; compassion and empathy for women in crisis; adherence to policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines; strong interpersonal and administrative skills; and the ability to function well in a sometimes busy and fast-paced environment.  Experience in Ob/Gyn nursing, with limited obstetric ultrasound, or in a pregnancy center is a plus.  Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability is a plus.  This position will be 15-20 hours/week with a salary range of $22 – $25/hour.
